Frequently Asked Questions

How do I create or join a match?

Tap the + button on the matches screen to create a new match. To join an existing match, browse the matches list and tap "Join" on any available match.

How do I update my skill level?

Go to your profile (My tab) and tap "Edit Profile". You can update your NTRP rating, UTR rating, and years of experience.

How do notifications work?

You'll receive push notifications for new messages and match invites. You can control these in your iPhone Settings > Notifications > TennisFyi.

Is my location data safe?

Yes! We only access your location when you explicitly allow it, and only to show nearby courts and matches. Your exact location is never shared with other users.

How do I report inappropriate behavior?

Please email us at support@tennispro.fyi with details about the issue. Include screenshots if possible. We take all reports seriously.

Can I delete my account?

Yes, you can request account deletion by emailing support@tennispro.fyi. We'll process your request within 72 hours.

Troubleshooting

App is running slowly

Try closing and reopening the app. Make sure you have the latest version from the App Store.

Not receiving notifications

Check your notification settings: iPhone Settings > Notifications > TennisFyi. Make sure notifications are enabled.

Can't find courts near me

Make sure location services are enabled: iPhone Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > TennisFyi > While Using App.
